Letter from the Owners

Welcome to what has been our home through some of the most wonderful times of our lives. The reason we fell in love with this house was not just the inside qualities, but also the outside yard and surrounding areas. The yard is large and capable of handling so many gatherings and celebrations. Just some of the great times we have had in this yard are birthday parties, graduation parties, re pit get-togethers, roasting s’mores and our annual lobster bakes for 40 people. Our home and backyard was one of the “go-to” destinations for our children and their friends – and we loved that they loved coming here. We’ve always felt a sense of privacy in our home. Although you can easily forget you are surrounded by other homes while in the backyard, you are still connected to a great neighborhood, both Boardman Street as well as the neighborhood that circles around behind the house (there is a great cut-through from our yard to an almost zero traf c cul-de-sac).We loved raising our children in Norfolk from pre-school through high school graduation. The pre- and elementary schools are consistently noted for exceptional results and the high school offers a great education with many opportunities for involvement in clubs and sports. In addition, my husband and so many we know take the commuter rail from Norfolk center right into Copley/Back Bay or South Station, which makes commuting a breeze. This house has been a great home. Although we are looking forward to our next chapter, “128” will be missed. It was the perfect place to grow with and close out the school years with our children. If you are lucky enough to live here, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did and make wonderful memories of your own.Best,Terri and Chip Coletta
