A Letter from the Sellers

When we first moved to Foxboro from Boston, we had no idea what a great town it was. We were nervous about leaving the convenience of the city behind. Fortunately, we quickly realized that this home allowed us to keep all of the benefits of city living, without the craziness, or the traffic, that came with it. Almost anything you could need is within a 10 minute drive, whether you are heading to stores down the street, Patriot Place, or Mansfield Crossing. There is also easy access to Routes 95 and 495.We have walked to numerous town events on the Common, including the farmer’s market and the Foxboro Founders’ Day Parade. We have also been able to walk to the playground and even the fire station’s open house with our children. And, we even got to to trick or treat with a few Superbowl champions just down the street. What we did not expect when purchasing this home was all of the beautiful wildlife nearby. We discovered an entrance to a a hiking trail on the Lane Property just a short walk away. The Neponset Reservoir is across the street, and our daughter has enjoyed watching the ducks and swans take off and land over the years. We really love this home, and have made many joyful memories here. Our family has happily expanded, and so it is time for this home to have new owners. If you are lucky enough to make this house your home, we wish you many happy memories here as well.

There's a lot to love in Foxboro!

Letter from the Owners

Welcome to what has been our home through some of the most wonderful times of our lives. The reason we fell in love with this house was not just the inside qualities, but also the outside yard and surrounding areas. The yard is large and capable of handling so many gatherings and celebrations. Just some of the great times we have had in this yard are birthday parties, graduation parties, re pit get-togethers, roasting s’mores and our annual lobster bakes for 40 people. Our home and backyard was one of the “go-to” destinations for our children and their friends – and we loved that they loved coming here. We’ve always felt a sense of privacy in our home. Although you can easily forget you are surrounded by other homes while in the backyard, you are still connected to a great neighborhood, both Boardman Street as well as the neighborhood that circles around behind the house (there is a great cut-through from our yard to an almost zero traf c cul-de-sac).We loved raising our children in Norfolk from pre-school through high school graduation. The pre- and elementary schools are consistently noted for exceptional results and the high school offers a great education with many opportunities for involvement in clubs and sports. In addition, my husband and so many we know take the commuter rail from Norfolk center right into Copley/Back Bay or South Station, which makes commuting a breeze. This house has been a great home. Although we are looking forward to our next chapter, “128” will be missed. It was the perfect place to grow with and close out the school years with our children. If you are lucky enough to live here, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did and make wonderful memories of your own.Best,Terri and Chip Coletta

Town of Norfolk

Norfolk is a small town conveniently located about 10 minutes from both I-95 and 495, and the quaint town center features a commuter rail stop for easy access to Boston. Although rural, Norfolk is still very close to major community hubs, shops, restaurants, nature walks and much more. Take a look at this map to see just how ideal this town is!
